Ikon Science releases RokDoc-Well Tie Package

- RokDoc-Well Tie 1.0 has been developed at the request of Ikon’s customers to simplify the task of tying wells and seismic data.
The new package can be licensed either stand alone or as a module to RokDoc.
The module is workflow driven and incorporates cascaded workflows enabling users to immediately see the effects on the tie from changes in any part of the process including wavelet estimation and stretch and squeeze log editing.
The workflow driven approach incorporates user help and guidance. For example, unrealistic changes in interval velocity caused by attempts to stretch and squeeze data are automatically highlighted to ensure the user obeys the laws of physics. RokDoc-Well Tie is also available as a plugin to Petrel.
